bell hooks (født Gloria Jean Watkins) var en amerikansk forfatter, feministisk teoretiker og kulturkritiker. Hun blev født den 25. september 1952 i Hopkinsville, Kentucky, og døde den 15. december 2021 i Berea, Kentucky. Hendes forfatterskab forbindes ofte med skarpe analyser af sammenhængene mellem race, køn og klasse, og med en stemme, der både fandt sted i akademiet og i den bredere offentlige debat.
