William James

Forfatterbiografi

Han fremlagde blandt andet sine ideer i værker som The Principles of Psychology (1890), The Will to Believe, and Other Essays in Popular Philosophy (1897) og The Varieties of Religious Experience (1902). I Pragmatism: A New Name for Old Ways of Thinking (1907) udviklede han pragmatismens metode, hvor betydningen af idéer forstås gennem deres praktiske konsekvenser.
