Forfatterbiografi

Victor Hugo (1802–1885) var en fransk digter, dramatiker og romanforfatter, kendt som en hovedskikkelse i den franske romantik. Han blev født i Besançon og døde i Paris i 1885. Hans forfatterskab spænder bredt over poesi, teater og prosafortællinger, og han formede genrerne gennem både sproglig kraft og et stærkt moralsk og politisk engagement.
