Tessa Hadley (født 28. februar 1956 i Bristol i England) er en britisk forfatter, der arbejder med både romaner, noveller og nonfiction. Hun er især kendt for sin psykologiske skarphed og for en stil, der ofte bevæger sig i det stille, men præcist registrerende spændingsfelt mellem det ydre hverdagsliv og de indre følelses- og erfaringslag. Hendes gennembrud som romanforfatter kom i 2002, og hun har siden udgivet en række værker, hvor fortællingens form og menneskelige relationer bærer hinanden. Hadley er også markeret som novellist, og det er en af genrerne, hvor hendes evne til at lade små begivenheder få dybe konsekvenser især træder frem. Af betydende udmærkelser kan nævnes, at hun i 2016 modtog Hawthornden Prize. Samme år blev hun også tildelt Windham–Campbell Literature Prizes i fiktion.
