Forfatterbiografi

Roberto Bolaño Ávalos (28. april 1953–15. juli 2003) var en chilensk forfatter, der blev kendt som romanforfatter, novelleforfatter, digter og essayist. Han skrev på spansk og fik international gennemslagskraft for en litteratur, der ofte kredser om fremmede miljøer, gådelignende fortolkninger og en særlig fascination af den kontinentale litterære tradition.
