Michel Serres (1930-2019) var en fransk filosof og forfatter, født i Agen den 1. september 1930 og død den 1. juni 2019. Hans tænkning udviklede sig fra en dyb forankring i videnskab og matematik til en litterær og essayistisk form, hvor han satte begreber, metaforer og kulturhistoriske spor i spil på tværs af fag.
